As the French capital has been listed as “active virus’ circulation area”, Ville de Paris and the Agence régionale de Santé (Regional Health Agency) announce each arrondissement will be fitted with free testing centers for everyone, in addition to private laboratories.

Facilitating access to tests as queues are growing longer every day in front of private laboratories. So is the goal set by the Ville de Paris this Fall 2020. To do so, the French capital and the Regional Health Agency have decided to improve testing centers by fitting each arrondissement with free testing centers.

Thanks to new testing spaces set in tents, the City of Paris aims at improving free tests for everyone, including people holding no health insurance. Therefore, Paris city hall says social security card holders can present it but this is not mandatory.

So, where can you go to find these free testing centers in Paris? So far, meet in front of the City Hall (4th arrondissement), at the Centre Sportif Emile-Anthoine (15th arrondissement) and in front of the 19th arrondissement town hall.

  • Parvis de l’Hôtel de Ville de Paris: ouvert every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting from Monday August 31.
  • Centre sportif Émile Anthoine - 9, rue Jean Rey: open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting from Monday August 31.
  • Parvis de la Mairie du 19e – 5, 7 place Armand Carrel: Open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting from Monday August 31.

Please note that two marquees are also travelling to neighborhood every half day. Find out more about the places and the opening hours of the marquees on Paris city hall website.
