Discover the cities of Île-de-France where life is the most pleasant, according to the ranking made by the association Villes et villages où il fait bon vivre and revealed by the Journal du Dimanche.
The Journal du Dimanche has unveiled the list of cities with more than 2,000 inhabitants where life is best, produced by the association Villes et villages où il fait bon vivre. Among the top 100, there are several cities in the Ile-de-France region, the first of which, Courbevoie in the Hauts-de-Seine, is ranked 34th. The department still contains the most livable cities in the entire Ile-de-France region. In France, it is once again the city of Angers that has been named the best city to live in for theyear 2023, before Guéthary, Bayonne and Biarritz.
This ranking is based on 198 criteria from INSEE and various government agencies, divided into the following nine categories: quality of life, safety, health, commerce, transport, education, sports and leisure, solidarity and real estate attractiveness.

While the Hauts-de-Seine is still in the lead with
16 cities in the top 100, the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne have no cities in the top 200. The capital is in
