If you work very early or very late, or are going on vacation on a staggered schedule, watch out for traffic in the Paris region on Monday night and Tuesday night this week! According to DiRIF, the northern section of the Paris ring road, between Porte Dauphine and Porte de Bagnolet, and the A86, between Nanterre and the Stade de France, will be closed from June 5 to 7, 2023, from 10pm to 5:30am, as part of the preparatory work for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
An alternative route will be offered to bypass these two roads. Night-time drivers wishing to reach the inner A86 can head for the A15/A86 interchange, take the RN315, the RD20 to the quays of the Seine, the RD410 to rue du Landy and then join access no. 9 of the inner A86 at the Stade de France.
The work, which will affect traffic for two nights, is"essential for the maintenance and development of the A86 freeway, managed by DiRIF, and the ring road, managed by the City of Paris, particularly in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games".
