Fnac Live Paris 2023: traffic and parking bans during the festival

Franz Ferdinand, Nuit Incolore, Benjamin Biolay, Aime Simone, Selah Sue or Hervé and Eesah Yasuke... all these talented artists are getting ready to take over the large temporary stage set up on the Hôtel de Ville forecourt for the Fnac Live Paris festival. After two festive evenings and 20 free concerts on the Hôtel de Ville forecourt and in its salons, Fnac Live is sadly coming to an end. As reported by BFMTV, the final evening of the festival, originally scheduled for Friday June 30 and featuring Aime Simone, Hervé and Selah Sue, has been cancelled due to the violence and riots currently affecting the Île-de-France region. But the organization of this major free summer festival in Paris is not without consequences for motorists. On June 27, the Préfecture de Police published a decree temporarily modifying parking and traffic conditions in several streets in the center of the capital. Specifically, " all types of motorized vehicles " will no longer be allowed to circulate or park in certain streets in central Paris "in order to ensure the smooth running " of Fnac Live.

From June 28 to 30, from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., parking for all types of motorized vehicles will be prohibited on the following streets in central Paris:

• Avenue Victoria, between Place de l'Hôtel de Ville - esplanade de la Libération and Place du Châtelet;
• Rue de la Tacherie, between rue de la Coutellerie and rue de Rivoli;
• Rue Saint-Martin, between quai de Gesvres and rue de Rivoli.

From June 28 to 30, from 4pm to 11:59pm , all motorized vehicles will be banned from several streets in central Paris:

• Avenue Victoria, between Place de l'Hôtel de Ville - esplanade de la Libération and Place du Châtelet;
• Place de l'Hôtel de Ville - esplanade de la Libération and place du Châtelet ;
• Rue de la Coutellerie ;
• Rue de la Tacherie, between rue de la Coutellerie and rue de Rivoli;
• Quai de l'Hôtel de Ville, between place de l'Hôtel de Ville - esplanade de la Libération and rue de Brosse;
• Rue de Lobau.

In addition, on Wednesday June 28, Hôtel de Ville station (metro lines 1 and 11) was closed to the public from mid-afternoon until late evening. Trains also did not stop at this station. The situation is expected to be identical on Thursday June 29 and Friday June 30.
