Even in summer, speeding is no excuse. And to encourage drivers to respect speed limits, thirteen new autonomous speed cameras have been installed in the Paris region, according to radar-auto.com. Located on roads with 30, 70, 80 or 90 km/h speed limits, there are two in Essonne, three in Seine-Saint-Denis, two in Seine-et-Marne, four in Yvelines and two in Val d'Oise.
In Essonne, the first is on the road between Maisse and Bouville, on the D837. The second is on the D191 between Boutervilliers and Plessis-Saint-Benoist.
In Seine-Saint-Denis, there's a radar in front of the Villemomble media library, one not far from the Livry-Gargan shopping center, and one on avenue de Lattre de Tassigny, in Epinay-sur-Seine.
In Seine-et-Marne, the first radar is located on the D607 at Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry, while the second is at Chailly-en-Bière, on the same stretch.
In the Yvelines department, there's one on the D983 between Houdan and Septeuil, one on the D191 between Les Essarts-le-Roi and Neauphle-le-Vieux, one on the D906 between Rambouillet and Chevreuse and one on the D922 between Meulan-en-Yvelines and Menucourt.
Finally, in the Val d'Oise, the first radar is located at the Bellay-en-Vexin exit towards Commeny, and the second on the D922 between Mériel and Luzarches.
