Chinese Lunar New Year at the Jardin d'Acclimatation, parade and lion dance

Good plan alert for the families and big kids that we are. The Jardin d'Acclimatation has decided to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and therefore the Lunar New Year, with special events on Saturday February 10 and Sunday February 11, 2024.

Indeed, to celebrate this New Year under the sign of the Wooden Dragon, the amusement park has decided to offer a whole panoply of entertainment from 10am to 4.30pm. Folk music and dance performances and a parade of Hanfu costumes (the emblematic garment of the Han people) will enliven the paths and lawns from 2:00 to 4:30 pm.

The highlight of the show, the famous Lion Dance, is not to be missed. Five large fawns, in shimmering colors and movements inspired by Asian martial arts, will cross the Park to music on Saturday at 4:00 pm.
