Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, several metro stations are closing their access and connections ahead of the competition, for safety reasons. Thanks to user associations, Champs-Elysées station, on lines 1 and 13, has finally not closed its doors on July 1, the date having been pushed back until July 20! D-0 before you have to find another route!
Note that the station will only be closed until August 11, then reopened from August 11 to 21, before closing again for the Paralympic Games, then from August 22 to September 8 inclusive, before resuming normal operations! According to the anticiper.gouv website, it was a re-examination of the conditions for setting up the Grand Palais site that enabled the closure to be reduced to a total of 6 weeks instead of 12 in a row!
