Once every four years, thanks to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we can discover and thrill to sports that are little-known or little-represented in the media. This summer 2024, during the Paris Paralympic Games, we're enjoying boccia in particular , a precision sport often associated with pétanque. This discipline is played alone, in doubles or in teams, and is practiced in 75 countries around the world.

Boccia is divided into four categories, depending on the athletes' degree of disability. A total of 24 medals can be won in this discipline: 12 for men, 12 for women. The competition should be tough, and the thrills even greater, with so many prizes up for grabs!
