With the untouchable Léon Marchand at the helm, the 4x100m medley relay team could only succeed. Already a four-time gold medallist during these Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the young swimming prodigy picks up another medal, this time as part of a team. Alongside Yohann Ndoye-Brouard, Maxime Grousset and Florent Manaudou, the four athletes shone in the Olympic pool set up at theArena Paris La Défense.
The race featured Yohann Ndoye Brouard in backstroke, four-time Olympic champion Léon Marchand in breaststroke, Maxime Grousset in butterfly and Florent Manaudou in crawl. A winning strategy, which enabled the French team to climb easily onto the podium, on the third step.
These four experienced swimmers had to contend with ruthless competition in the pool: the relay swimmers battled it out for first place right up to the final moments, fuelling the fervour and trance of the spectators. As always, the spectators gave their voices to encourage the French: these clamors surely helped our swimmers to reach the top of this competition.
However, French fans aren't done with all these emotions: there are still plenty of medals to go for during these Paris 2024 Games. In the meantime, we can only congratulate our 4x100 relay swimmers once again!
