After being delayed several times this summer, the latest Disney studios live-action movie, Mulan, directed by Niki Caro will be ultimately released on December 4, 2020 on Disney + in France because of coronavirus. While waiting for its release, you can still enjoy the trailers! A movie definitely not for children as it could be forbidden to people under 13 years old when released in the United States.

After Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, Aladdin and even The Lion King, it’s Mulan’s turn to have a live-action version. The heroine is awaited in a Niki Caro movie out in France on December 4, 2020 on Disney +. A movie changing a lot from the animated movie released in 1998 since Mulan’s dragon friend Mushu also doubling up as the comic endorsement of the movie is not said to be in the movie. Disney song fans will also be disappointed since no songs will feature in the movie, the latter focusing more on Mulan’s story.

As for the cast, there are Liu Yifei (The Lost Soldier, Hanson and the Beast…), Gong Li (Miami Vice, Hannibal Lecter…), Donnie Yen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, xXx: Reactivated…), Jason Scott Lee (Lilo & Stich, Tiger and Dragon 2…) and even Jet Li (The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Expandables 3…) as the Emperor of China.

Plot:

Shan-Yu and his Huns army have invaded China. Mulan’s father, Fa-Zhou is called to join the war by the Emperor. Doubting about their trust, refusing to marry the man they’ve picked for her and wishing to protect her father to old and too fragile for a certain death, Mulan replaces him and steal his armor and joins the army. The latter will do everything to defeat Shan-Yu and the Huns with him to bring peace back to China.
