Ce soir à la télé: Aline, Valérie Lemercier's film inspired by the life of Céline Dion - Opinions

Synopsis

Quebec, late 60s, Sylvette and Anglomard welcome their 14th child: Aline(Valérie Lemercier). In the Dieu family, music is king, and when Aline grows up, she is discovered to have a golden voice. When he hears this voice, music producer Guy-Claude has only one idea in mind: to make Aline the greatest singer in the world. Supported by her family and guided by the experience and budding love of Guy-Claude(Sylvain Marcel), together they will write the pages of an extraordinary destiny.

Valerie Lermercier takes on a monument of song and succeeds brilliantly! Céline Dion's shoes fit her like a glove. We cry, we laugh and we're moved by the fate of this extraordinary woman and the flawless performance of the French comedian, who reveals yet another of her many talents!

Whether you like the singer or not, the film portrays a simple, gentle and pleasant woman with incredible talent, who knows what she wants and fights shamelessly to achieve it! The viewer can't help but be touched by this little woman, whom we dream of hugging and comforting in difficult times.
