Branche & Ciné 2024" film festival from June 28 to July 6: open-air screenings

It's one of the must-see summer events in the forests of eastern Ile de France. When the sun sets late in the evening, the forests are transformed into open-air cinemas. From June 28 to July 6, 2024, the Office National des Forêts is organizing the 6th edition of its forest film festival, "Branche & Ciné". Free open-air screenings will be offered to the public in the forests of Fontainebleau and La Grange, as well as at the Château Rosa Bonheur and the Tuilerie de Bezanleu. Action, comedy, adventure... Something for everyone.

Fantastic forest creatures

In cinema, the forest abounds with prodigious creatures, in turn frightening, disturbing or funny. These beings, straight out of medieval beliefs, the imaginations of storytellers or children's authors, blend genres and kingdoms, on the borders of human, plant and animal.

A whole universe of composite creatures, animals with a human face, headless humans, hybrids, trees with speech and consciousness, dragons and other incredible characters populate the forests and the cinema, and will be featured in the films screened at the 2024 edition of Branche & Ciné. Who knows what strange creature from the depths of the woods will be sitting next to you at the screening?
