That's it, Fortnite season 4 is here! While the Green Hell season has just come to an end, Epic Games has been quick to give news of this new season by unveiling, on Thursday August 24, 2023, a first trailer presenting its main storyline. The new season, entitled"Last Dance", is due to be released on August 25, and the publisher has also teased it in a launch trailer that sets the tone! What will this new season consist of? What time does it start? We tell you all about it!
In terms of content, Epic Games has been a lot more talkative than usual, as the game's publisher has revealed a trickle of info, via insiders and on their official social network accounts, setting the tone for the upcoming season. We learn that this new season will revolve around a heist, strangely reminiscent of a certain season 2 of Chapter 2.

Also note that a renowned content creator, Brazilian Sharshock, recently received an intriguing package fromEpic Games. It contained a mysterious image resembling a blood moon, with an enigmatic message signed"Kôji Datura". This reference, currently unknown in the Fortnite universe, could presage the arrival of a new character, be it an NPC or an outfit in Season 4's Battle Pass.

As for the arrival time of this new season, no official information at the moment, but as the Green Hell season ends on August 25 at 8am, the new season should start around 9am (for downtime). In terms of content, the two trailers show us the main skins available in the fighting pass, including one of the hottest influencers of the moment, Kaby Lame. There's also anAhsoka Tano skin, in a nod to the launch of the Star Wars series on Disney+.
In terms of new features, we can also expect a few little nuggets, such as self-guided turrets to de-zap enemies without moving a finger, a super-powered rocket-ram or "electrifying" grenades to neutralize the aforementioned turrets.
On the map, expect new zones in place of La Citadelle, Lonely Labs and in the gulf to the south-west of the map.
