After being introduced in The Clone Wars series, and staged for the first time in live-action in season 2 of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano is for the first time the heroine of a live-action Star Wars series with a sober name: Ahsoka. Released on Disney+ on August 23.
It's a project that fans of the Star Wars Expanded Universe were very excited about, as Ashoka is a true cult character. The first trailer for the series was unveiled this Friday, April 7, on the first day of the Star Wars Celebration. It features Ashoka, played by Rosario Dawson, as well as a number of familiar faces from the universe imagined by George Lucas: Sabine(Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Hera(Mary Elisabeth Winstead), and even Darth Vader, according to some rumors (and played by Hayden Christensen himself).
We can't wait to find out more and discover the series.
