After a successful stint in temporary premises, THE EDGE makes a spectacular return in 2023, and this time the ambitions are bigger than ever. Located right in the heart of the capital, this new space of over 350m2 promises an unrivalled virtual reality experience, tinged with ultra-realistic sensations such as heat, wind and vibration. Fans of Ready Player One and the world of Wade Watts will be particularly enthusiastic about this proposition which, according to its co-founders Arnaud Chape and Valentin Raymondeau, pushes"the limits of reality".
The experience begins with a pretty preshow, then as soon as you don your VR headset, equipped with joysticks and a haptic vest for total sensory immersion. You're then teleported to a space base in 2360, on Jupiter's moon Ganymede. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to find missing scientists by forming teams of 2 to 4 people. With its mix of investigation, action and entertainment, this adventure is suitable for everyone aged 10 and over. Heat/wind simulation adds a layer of authenticity, making the experience irresistible to VR enthusiasts.
