The galaxy far, far away from Star Wars invites itself into the Fortnite universe! Starting this May 3, 2024, to mark Star Wars Day, Battle Royal, as well as LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival and Rocket Racing modes, are welcoming new content based on the space saga, so that fans can experience new adventures! With the arrival of update 29.40, all fans will be able to discover a dedicated island where the forces of the Rebellion and the Empire engage in a fierce battle, all in the iconic LEGO aesthetic.
Players will be able to build the Rebel village on the new LEGO island, engage in galactic quests and arm themselves with lightsabers, blasters and even thermal detonators to battle Imperial forces. By taking part in these activities, players will progress to the new " Rebellion Under Construction " Pass, which offers a host of customizable rewards, including the famous Chewbacca skin, Lando Calrissian skin, Dagobah version of Luke and Tatooine-inspired constructions.
The festivities don't stop there. Speed enthusiasts will be able to try their hand at Rocket Racing, featuring Star Wars quests offering unique rewards such as special drags and vehicle stickers featuring Anakin and Darth Maul. For its part, the Fortnite Festival will transform its space with a stage inspired by the famous Mos Eisley Cantina, allowing players to recreate cult scenes or relax to the sound of mythical songs from the Star Wars universe.
