Get ready for an oppressive and eerie atmosphere, perfect for a terrifying Halloween!
In The Lake House, players will discover a new plot parallel to the main story ofAlan Wake 2. Kiran Estevez is investigating paranormal events linked to a series of experiments gone wrong at the mysterious FBC station. According to Remedy Entertainment, " a collision between reality and the Dark Place " has been caused by a deranged scientist, threatening to open doors to another world. This scenario promises to explore connections with Control, a game from the studio and linked to Alan Wake, with even a nod to Jesse Faden, director of the Bureau, possibly making an appearance.
Although no gameplay has yet been revealed, the September 2024 State of Play trailer offered a first glimpse of The Lake House's atmosphere. Remedy has confirmed that this expansion will link up with Control 2, currently in development, to the delight of fans of the universe.
