From September to January 2025, fans of the famous console will be able to enjoy a number of events and releases, including the launch ofAstro Bot, available since September 6, 2024. This game, developed by Team Asobi, pays tribute to 30 years of PlayStation characters, stories and magical moments. The perfect opportunity to thank the players and community who have made these three decades possible.
On the celebratory side, P-For fans of the Gran Turismo franchise, a free experience called My First GT will be available over the festive season. It will allow players, whether novices or experts, to relive the excitement of the first game, with a selection of cars, circuits and milestone events. Music fans will not be left out. Sony Music and PlayStation are collaborating to offer digital soundtracks from legendary franchises such as God of War, Twisted Metal and Starhawk. Every month until January, these soundtracks will be available on Spotify and other music platforms, starting with a special 30th anniversary playlist.
Finally, PlayStation hasn't forgotten about multiplayer and eSport competitions. A free online gaming weekend is being organized on September 21 and 22, 2024, without the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription, with parallel tournaments on popular titles such as NBA 2K24, Tekken 8 and Guilty Gear - Strive. An opportunity to win exclusive prizes, including avatars specially designed for the 30th anniversary.
