Parisian news flash! UNIQLO Opéra, located in the capital's 9th arrondissement, will reopen with great fanfare on Friday, September 15, 2023. The Japanese brand's flagship is expanding from 2,000m² to 2,265m², and reinventing itself around a majestic new staircase leading to the second floor, and a second leading to level -1.
The store's reopening is marked by the launch of UNIQLO : C, an elegant, minimalist line in collaboration with designer Clare Waight Keller (former artistic director of Givenchy), and an unprecedented partnership with theOpéra national de Paris.
The "Au rythme de Paris" campaign features dancers from the Opéra Ballet dressed in UNIQLO colors at the Palais Garnier. In addition to the collection, UNIQLO will be supporting the"Ma Première fois à l'Opéra" program, enabling families to discover the institution at special rates.
The brand will also continue to celebrate Japanese culture through a dedicated space, featuring a collection of UT t-shirts with graphic designs and pieces inspired by Japanese art. Not far away, a new UTme! personalization corner will take pride of place, with many collaborations to come.
And, as the brand is on all fronts, it will also integrate into its brand-new boutique a RE.UNIQLO repair space, offering alterations and customization services, including embroidery, to enhance the durability of garments.
UNIQLO Opéra is reborn, enriched and ready to embody "the rhythm of Paris", between unique experiences, cultural collaborations and timeless collections.
