The event, rooted in the capital's rich multiculturalism, echoes the question posed by Linda Nguon, founder of Banh Mi: "Why do so few French media talk about Asia, when the largest Asian community in Europe can be found on our territories?" The answer lies partly in the plates and glasses that will be generously filled on November 11.
Banh Mi, the collective of talents of Asian origin, has set up this event with Uniqlo to honor the emblematic cuisines of Asia. This event is the fruit of a collaboration between passionate female illustrators and four restaurateurs who have created 10 unique designs to be found until December 3 in store. The result is a diverse range of cultural expression, perfectly illustrating the essence of the Banh Mi collective and its founder, who is torn between her Vietnamese and Cambodian roots and her French culture.
