Tang Frères, the benchmark Asian supermarket, is setting up shop in the 92 region of France, and will soon be opening at 73 boulevard Marceau in Colombes, according to Actu.fr. The new store, which will replace the former Bricorama, will open in 2024, following some renovation work.
For lovers of Asian cuisine, Tang Frères already has several locations in the Paris region, in the south-east of the capital, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne and Seine-et-Marne. The flagship store is located at 48 Avenue d'Ivry, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, the heart of the Asian community.
There are stores in Vitry-sur-Seine, Noisy-le-Grand, Pantin, Lognes, Bussy-Saint-Georges and Choisy-le-Roi, but this is the first time the supermarket has set up shop in the western part of the Paris region, in particular Hauts-de-Seine. A godsend for the Asian community and for lovers of exotic products, who will no longer need to cross the whole of Paris to get their supplies.
Founded in 1976 by the Tang brothers, Laotian refugees of Chinese origin, Tang Frères quickly established itself as the temple of Asian culture in Paris. Located in the 13th arrondissement, Tang Frères began modestly with a small grocery store, before becoming one of the largest importers and distributors of Asian products in Europe.
By offering a diverse range of exotic products unavailable elsewhere, Tang Frères attracts a varied clientele, from nostalgic expatriates to Parisians curious about new flavors. Their success is based on a combination of competitive prices and impeccable quality, making Tang Frères a veritable institution for all lovers of Asian cuisine.
As a reminder, Tang Frères offers a wide range of authentic Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other products. The supermarket offers exotic fruits and vegetables such as mangoes, papayas and Chinese cabbage, as well as fresh produce such as fish, seafood and meats specific to Asian cuisine.
There's also a well-stocked grocery store with different varieties of rice, noodles, sauces and essential condiments such as soy sauce and curry paste. For frozen food lovers, Tang Frères sells frozen ravioli, mochi, egg rolls, vegetables and seafood. In addition to food products, the supermarket offers Asian snacks and confectionery, beverages ranging from green tea to sake, as well as Asian cooking utensils and tableware. Hygiene and beauty products are also available, including Korean and Japanese cosmetics.
