Paris Celebrates the Olympic Games and awaits you in all these places of celebration including the Parc de Choisy for the capital's 13th arrondissement. From July 26 at noon to September 8, 2024, this green lung of the capital, r-transforms into a fan zone with giant screen and festive entertainment. We tell you all about it.

Parc de Choisy, the famous, very sporty green space in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, is being transformed into a veritable fan zone for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. From July 26, the day of the opening ceremony, you'll be able to take advantage of this large space to follow the events and take part in various activities. The festive area opens its doors at noon to allow you to follow the live broadcast of the ceremony.

For the duration of the Games, the park will host a rich and varied program. Activities include :

  • Grand bal populaire: On July 27, from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm, a grand ball, free and open to all, awaits you, with an orchestra playing French and international music by the Paris Vintage Quintet, food courts, games and sports activities.

  • Giant Just Dance: Several open-air dance sessions will take place on July 31, August 9, August 17, August 24 and September 7. Dance fans will be able to sway to the video game's iconic choreography.

  • Workshops and sports initiations: Hip-hop and freestyle dance initiations will be offered from September 4 to 8, led by teachers and amateur companies such as Equality, Atipik and Brain Storm Dance.

  • K-pop Dance Random: On July 28, K-pop fans can get together to dance to the most popular choreographies of this musical genre from Korea.

Throughout the summer, De Rue et De Cirque offers a program of shows and arts and sports workshops in the Parc de Choisy. Discover the free program, open to all. Please note that workshops must be booked 30 minutes before they start. Please come earlier.

The 13th arrondissement town hall has mobilized local sports clubs and associations to host these events, ensuring a festive and inclusive atmosphere.

With such a diverse program, the Parc de Choisy, which is one of the 25 free celebration sites, is positioned as a must-see for the Parisian summer of 2024. Whether you want to follow the Olympic events or take part in the many free activities, this venue promises to be a great place to discover and share good times.

To get to Parc de Choisy in the 13th arrondissement of Paris by public transport, you have several practical options. By metro, you can take line 7 and get off at Tolbiac station. The park is then about a 5-minute walk away. Head northwest along rue de Tolbiac, then turn left onto avenue de Choisy. You can also get off at the Place d'Italie station, also on line 7. The park is about an 8-minute walk away. Take the exit for avenue de Choisy and walk straight on to the park.

By bus, take bus 62 and get off at the Tolbiac - Baudricourt stop. Walk west on rue de Tolbiac, then turn left on avenue de Choisy. Alternatively, take bus 47 and get off at Place d'Italie - Mairie du 13e. Then walk east along avenue de Choisy to the park. Bus 83 is another option, stopping at Olympiades. From here, walk east on rue de Tolbiac, then turn right on avenue de Choisy.

If you prefer to take the streetcar, use line T3a and get off at Porte de Choisy station. Then walk north along avenue de Choisy to the park. For cycling enthusiasts, there are several Vélib' stations close to the park. Finally, don't forget to use the RATP application to plan your journey in real time and find out when the next buses will be passing by. By following these directions, you'll easily reach the Parc de Choisy and be able to enjoy your visit.
