It's THE stadium of the PSG club! The history of the Parc des Princes is the stuff of dreams. Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the Parc des Princes is the 5th largest stadium in France, with a capacity of 48,583.
Since 1974, it has been home to Paris Saint Germain matches, but not only. The Parc des Princes also hosts a number of other sporting events, such as rugby, and major musical events. Michael Jackson (1988), Prince (1990) and Johnny Hallyday (1993) are just some of the artists to have invaded the stadium.
Whether you're coming for a soccer match or a concert, getting to the Parc des Princes is easy. Here are a few practical tips for getting to the stadium by public transport or by car.
How do I get to the Parc des Princes by public transport?
Metro or bus, the choice is yours! If you opt for the metro, there are two options: Porte de Saint-Cloud station (closest to the Parc des Princes) on line 9, or Porte d'Auteuil station on line 10.
If you prefer the bus, you can choose between lines 22, 62 or 72, which stop at Porte de Saint-Cloud. Alternatively, take the N°32 or 52 bus, which stops at Porte d'Auteuil.
How do I get to the Parc des Princes by car?
The car is clearly not the preferred mode of transport to get to the Parc des Princes, as traffic is very difficult on match days or major musical events due to the various security roadblocks deployed.
If, however, you are planning to reach the stadium by car, you should be aware that the Parc des Princes has no partner parking lot. However, there are two parking lots close to the stadium:
