On your marks, get set, go…. Paris! From May 29 to 31, 2020, the Paris International Tournament (TIP) is back in the city of lights! A yearly sporting events open to all which goal is to promote the integration via sport and the fight against discriminations.
Held by the Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation (FSGL) and its partnering members, the TIP celebrates its 16th edition this year. Since its creation back in 2003, the Paris International Tournament takes part in recognizing homosexual rights and integration through sport. Moreover, the tournament is open to all, without discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity, age, health, ethnic origins, handicap. In one word: inclusive!
Open to all, the event brings together over 2000 athletes from all over the world every year and revolves around twenty sports promoting tolerance and conviviality. A tournament also enjoying the many sporting premises in Paris with 28 sites where the tournament takes place.
On the menu this year, then, about 26 sports and over 30 sporting disciplines represented! To participate, nothing simpler: head to the TIP website and follow the instructions.
The asset is that you’re taken in charge for all the activities provided by the tournament: you can take part in the TIP closing party (€18), get a 3-day transport pass for only €25 or if you want to volunteer or if you want to sign up to the different sports. For registrations, allow between €20 and €60 including a price changing depending on the sports you choose. A solidarity funds enable you to lighten the bill if need be. Registrations end on May 5, 2020.
