Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Ecotrail Paris® and the Eiffel Tower Vertical®, scheduled on Wednesday March 11, 2020 and the weekend from Saturday March 14 to Sunday 15, 2020 in Ile de France are cancelled. Both races could not make it from the degradation of the health situation.

Cautions, races cancelled in Paris! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Ecotrail Paris® and Eiffel Tower Vertical® scheduled on Wednesday March 11, 2020 and the weekend from Saturday March 14 to Sunday 15, 2020 in Ile de France first postponed to Wednesday September 30, 2020 and Saturday October 3 and Sunday 4, 2020 are ultimately cancelled.

In a press release, organizers say "after a forced delay in March a few days prior to the event, and a deteriorating health situation since this summer, and even more since the summer vacations ended, the organization is sorry to cancel the edition 2020 of the Eiffel Tower Vertical" as well as the EcoTrail Paris.

By the way, participants who cannot run the edition 2020 of the EcoTrail Paris can enjoy the official platform to sell their bibs and be fully repaid. Meet on  www.swika.co/ecotrail/.

Every year, hundreds of skilled Ile-de-France sportsmen and sportswomen face off one another for the EcoTrail Paris® and the Eiffel Tower Vertical®. This second event will start the competition off, on Wednesday September 30, 2020 from 8 p.m.

On the menu and for the sixth time in a row, be reasy to experience a genuine race against time to climb up the 1665 steps as fast as possible and make it to the top of the famous 276-m high Parisian monument.

We continue sporting festivities with the 13th edition of EcoTrail Paris®. Here, no need to be a top-level sportsman/sportswoman to come. If the latter will be largely pleased with the EcoTrail Paris® events, the less “warrior” runners will be far from being left over.

On the menu of the EcoTrail Paris®:

  • 80-km Trail:
You’ll leave at 12:30 p.m. from the Ile de Loisirs in Saint-Quentin en Yvelines for an urban race 92% made of trails and paths! Discover Ile de France by running through Domaine de St Philippe, Meudon Observatory, Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, Forêts Domaniales de Versailles, Ile-St-Germain or the Champ de Mars.

  • 45-km Trail:
Leave from the royal gardens of the Palace of Versailles at 11 a.m. for 45 kilometers through Ile-de-France, a race made of trails and paths at 90% that will lead you at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

  • 30-km Trail:
More accessible than the 45-km and 80-km trails, the 30-km one remains a wonderful challenge for every runner worthy of this name. Leave from Meudon Observatory for a trail to the Champ de Mars.

  • 18-km Trail:
From the terrace of the Meudon Observatory to the Forêt Domaniale in Saint-Cloud, run 18 kilometers for charity! Indeed, beyond the sporting challenge, the 18-km trail supports the Fondation des Apprentis d’Auteuil allowing over 13,000 troubled young people to better integrate society.

In short, here are amazing events for all runners wishing to make the best of Ile de France nature! But careful, the number of runners is counted, don’t hesitate to register as soon as possible on the official website.
