This Sunday, September 24, 2023, will mark the very first time that Île-de-France's largest excavated soil reclamation site, located at Villeneuve-sous-Dammartin in the Seine-et-Marne département, will be open to the general public. To mark the occasion, we're offering a free escape game, recommended for ages 7 and up!
Along a 3-kilometer-long trail, armed with your logbook, you'll be given a top-secret mission: go behind the scenes of a construction site, discover the on-site storage areas and, above all, the operations undertaken to "recycle" and give a second life to these old, abandoned sites. You can also discover the Oeil du Ciel, a monumental work of land art by Antoine Grumbach. Please note: while participation in the escape game is free and open to all, registration is essential, so remember to reserve your tickets before you go!
This unusual initiative, which is free to all, is the work of ECT, a company that uses soil from construction sites on a daily basis to create non-built development projects, thus giving new uses to neglected land. Excavated earth from construction sites is reused to create natural spaces, agricultural fields... and give it a second life.
Join us on Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm, to try and complete the mission entrusted to you in this unusual escape game, entirely free of charge!
