From November 30 to December 23, 2019, enjoy the return of Carnival, Cirque Electrique's latest creation, which already enchanted young and old alike in 2017 and 2018. Here's a circus tale we're really looking forward to taking our children to from the age of 2.
Because Carnival is 50 minutes of poetry as quaint as it is electric.Eugène Durif 's text about the trials and tribulations of the ogre Ledru, who feels too sorry for children to eat them, is a jewel of humanity and an ideal gateway to the magic of the circus.
On stage, we find the traditional circus figures, fildefériste, juggler, contortionist, clown, trapeze artist, as well as live musicians.
Carnival is a high-quality show for young audiences, a colorful and generous whirlwind. Welcome to this rockin' carnival, a hymn to the acrobats that's sure to electrify!
This signature show is the very image of Cirque électrique, which for 23 years has been delighting us with creations as poetic as they are wacky, hybrid works that reconcile the circus tradition with contemporary urban culture.
And when you get out of there, you don't necessarily want to get straight back on the metro. Well, Carnival is 50 minutes of show, but also 50 minutes of fiesta: the "free kids party" with pancakes, syrups and balloons, just to keep the fun going!
In fact, you can even prepare for your visit to the circus by buying the book-disc of the Carnival tale illustrated by Kiki Picasso, to be published by Tohu Bohu on November 15, 2019 .
