July 14, 2024: Concert de Paris on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville, here's the full program

Following on from the success of previous years, Paris is once again hosting a grand symphony concert to celebrate its national holiday. Like every summer, this great musical event takes place in the capital and awaits music lovers on Sunday July 14, 2024 for what promises to be an exceptional evening.

But this year, due to the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, this traditional"Concert de Paris" will not take place on the Champ-de-Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. This summer, the great"Concert de Paris" is moving to a new venue, the parvis de l'Hôtel de Ville, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. This space, smaller than the Champ-de-Mars, hosts major events such as the Fnac Live festival several times a year. On June 21, for the Fête de la Musique, a participatory and inclusive gala concert, led by the Orchestre de chambre de Paris, also took place on the parvis de l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris.

On July 14, 2024, the "Concert de Paris" will be a new event. As Radio France indicates on its website, access to the Hôtel de Ville forecourt is free and without reservation.

In terms of programming, this grand symphonic concert is once again orchestrated by theOrchestre National de France, the Chœur de Radio France and the Maîtrise de Radio France. The Orchestre National de France, the Maîtrise and the Chœur de Radio France, not to mention the greatest international soloists invited especially for the occasion, are sure to make this musical moment unique, before singing a vibrant Marseillaise.

So, after soprano Ermonela Jaho, French mezzo-soprano Stéphanie d'Oustrac, tenor Jonas Kaufmann, bass-baritone Ludovic Tezier and Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang, who has the honor of treading the ephemeral stage installed on July 14, 2024 on the forecourt of Paris' Hôtel de Ville ? This year, get ready for Lang Lang, Nadine Sierra, Khatia Buniatishvili, as well as Thibault Cauvin and Matthieu Chedid, aka -M-.

This year, to coincide with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Concert de Paris on July 14th is moving to a new venue, and awaits music-lovers on the square in front of the Hôtel de Ville for another festive, free musical event. Organized once again by Radio France, France Télévisions, the City of Paris and Électron Libre Productions, this grand concert can also be seen live from 8:45pm on France 2 and France Inter. The"Concert de Paris" is followed by the traditional fire works display from the Eiffel Tower at around 11pm.
