Four years after her last Parisian concert, we were eager to see Patti Smith live again in the capital. Her wish has come true in 2019, as the 70s rock icon has announced two concerts at the Olympia de Paris on Monday August 26 and Tuesday August 27.

It's no secret. Patti Smith loves France and Paris. And the French public loves her back. After celebrating the 40th anniversary of her legendary opus"Horses" at theOlympia in Paris in October 2015, the punk priestess is announcing her return to France with a series of outdoor and indoor concerts.

On the program? The Musicalarue and Cabaret Vert festivals. Following this, the 70s rock icon plans to make a stopover in Marseille on August 19, Nice on August 20 and finally at Lyon' s Transbordeur on August 21, 2019.

What about Paris? To (re)discover Patti Smith live in the capital around her countless hits, head to the legendaryOlympia venue on Monday August 26 and Tuesday August 27, 2019 . On the ticketing front, don't miss the Olympia and Ticketmaster presale (for the second August 27 date) on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10am. General on-sale on other networks on Monday January 7, 2019 at 10am.

In addition to her music, Patti Smith is also famous for her novels. In November 2018, the American artist published her latest work"Devotion", eight years after the success of the magnificent"Just Kids", and three years after"M Train". To mark the publication (published by Gallimard), Patti Smith held a series of book signings in the capital's bookshops, much to the delight of her fans.
