You didn’t make it to grab tickets for Beirut concert on April 5 at Le Grand Rex? Dry your eyes! The talented American musician offers you a catch-up session. Save the date, Beirut will be back in Paris this fall with a show scheduled on Tuesday October 8, 2019 at the Salle Pleyel.
The artist will make the best of it to return to his latest opus called “Gallipoli” to be discovered in store since February 1, 2019.
Revealing 12 tracks, this album has flourished in Zach Condon’s head in the winter 2016 when the latter returned to his old Farfisa organ, the same he used for the first two excellent albums of the band.
After recording in New York and Berlin, he finally settled in the Sudestudio, a studio lost in the Italian Puglia to give this fifth album his entire inspiration.

Zach Condon says: “We were seeing signs for a city called Gallipoli. We happened to walk in at the exact moment as the Saint was leaving the church, carried by a bunch of priests. Behind them was this frenetic kind of brass band. The next day, I wrote the song I ended up calling 'Gallipoli,' entirely in one sitting, pausing only to eat.”
