Take note, Rodrigo y Gabriela are planning to take over the Trianon stage three times, on Monday October 21, Tuesday October 22 and Wednesday October 23, 2019. A word of advice: don't miss the sale on April 23 at 11am.
The duo will be releasing"Mettavolution" on Friday April 26, 2019. This album was born of Rodrigo Y Gabriela 's passion, expressed through two acoustic guitars, for Buddhism, the history of evolution and the liberation of the potential of the human species.
Two moods make up this galette. The first half of"Mettavolution" harks back to the duo's thrash metal roots in Mexico City, while an incredible 19-minute reworking of Pink Floyd's legendary"Echoes"- reinvented for two acoustic guitars - takes up the entire second half of the album.
For this new opus, the acoustic guitar virtuoso duo called on producer Dave Savy (Oasis, LCD Soundsystem, A Perfect Circle, Fall Out Boy...).
