The music of James Bond comes to the Grand Rex in Paris on Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16, 2024, for Bond Symphonique, a concert celebrating 60 years of James Bond.
53 musicians from the Colonne and Musidrama orchestras, plus two singers, give a symphonic concert featuring musical themes and songs from the Bond films, conducted by Samuel Séné. The singers are Gwendal Marimoutou and Prisca Demarez.
As James Bond fans know, certain themesand titles have become classic film scores.
In fact, James Bond film tracks have been performed by such great artists as Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra, Paul McCartney, A-ha, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Madonna, Jack White and Adèle, who won the Oscar for Best Original Song, a Golden Globe and a Critic's Choice Movie Award for Skyfall .
During the Bond Symphonique concert, audiences will be treated to live versions of the most famous Bond themes, including the famous James Bond Theme, as well as Goldfinger, Diamonds are forever, Goldeneye, Skyfall, Live and let die, Die another day, A view to a kill, You Only Live Twice, Nobody Does It Better, The Living Daylights...
