After the Trianon in 2016, the La Cigale in 2017, the Olympia in 2019, The Dandy Warhols are back in the legendary Parisian venue on Boulevard des Capucines in 2021. Meet the rock band on Saturday February 27, 2021 at the Olympia for an exclusive show the band will play as part of their latest tour.
In addition to Paris, The Dandy Warhols are also said to rock cities of Brussels, Lausanne, Zurich, Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, and London. As for tickets, they go on sale from Friday July 10, 2020 at 10 a.m. (CEST).
The Dandy Warhols have been very busy lately during lockdown with an instrumental album called “Tafelmusik Means More When You’re Alone” only available on Bandcamp. For the record, the American quartet including Courtney Taylor-Taylor, Peter Holmström, Zia McCabe, and Brent DeBoer, is behind hit songs such as “Bohemian Like You”, “Get Off” or even “We Used to be Friends”.
Everything starts in 1993 in Oregon. Led by the fanciful Courtney Taylor-Taylor, the band releases a first psychedelic-pop album in 1993, but they truly meet success in 1995 with “The Dandy Warhols Come Down” taking them in the limelight in the UK. Then everything speeds up with the release of “Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia” in 2000, and “Welcome to the Monkey House” three years later. Since then, the band has released six other opuses and as many hits you may enjoy live once again on the occasion of this exclusive show in France of The Dandy Warhols.
