If you've always dreamed of strolling through the aisles of the Louvre museum by night, then the following may well please you. France's most visited museum is organizing an unusual musical nocturne on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 6.30 pm to 10 pm. Called"La Nuit des Choses", this event offers a moment suspended in time, with concerts, performances, workshops and encounters. Offered exclusively to coincide with the final days of the " Les Choses, une histoire de la Nature Morte " exhibition, this nocturne invites us to explore our relationship with objects in a festive and poetic way.
In terms of programming, this nocturne at the Musée du Louvre goes all out, welcoming a number of prestigious artists from the electro world, including Jacques and Thylacine. The former will present a brand-new version of his"Phonochose" performance in the museum's Cour Khorsabad, while the latter will close the night with an exclusive live performance under the mythical Pyramid.
Meanwhile, magician Etienne Saglio and artist Bachar Mar-Kalifé will unveil a never-before-seen show in the Cour Marly. Look out for a truly poetic and aerial experience!
And don't miss an original encounter with Neil MacGrégor, or introductory mini-visits to the " Les Choses, une histoire de la Nature Morte " exhibition.
