Live music invites itself to Lafayette Anticipations for the new 6th Closer Music Festival. To be discovered from Friday January 19 to Sunday January 21, 2024, this Parisian festival opens up new visual and sonic perspectives. For three evenings in a row, the Closer Music Festival offers an eclectic program featuring a new generation of artists in touch with the world.
Having already welcomed such talented artists as the late Mark Lanegan & Not Waving, Robert Görl, Space Afrika & Blackhaine, Lyra Pramuk and Pan Daijing, Closer Music Festival is once again pulling out all the stops to seduce your discerning ears and take us on a journey from Shanghai to Berlin, via Bristol, Gothenburg, Barcelona and Cairo.
This winter, get ready to welcome Catalan singer and pianist Marina Herlop to the Lafayette Anticipations stage, as well as pmxper, the duo made up of Pavel Milyakov (Buttechno) and Aleksandra Zakharenko (Perila), and Berlin-based experimental producer Ziúr, not to mention England's Elvin Brandhi and Egypt's Abdullah Miniawy.
Want more? The Closer Music festival also invites the duo Accident du Travail, formed by Julie Normal and Olivier Demeaux, Bristol-born artist Sarahsson and Scandinavian Elin Engström, who will be presenting her solo project, Loopsel.
To crown this 6th edition, the Closer Music Festival once again takes over theÉglise du Saint-Esprit to present"Sculptures" on January 21, a performance by Swedish composer and organist Ellen Arkbro.
