With her unmistakable voice, timeless hits and pin-up rock look, Amy Winehouse has undoubtedly left her mark. Her career was short (two albums released between 2003 and 2006), but the singer remains an immense artist in the eyes of many, who would love to hear her voice live again.
On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, France 4 will devote part of its evening to this British icon, with a never-before-seen broadcast of the concert she gave in London's intimate Porcester Hall in 2007. Starting at 9pm, this concert, simply entitled " Amy Winehouse Live at the Porchester Hall " , is an opportunity to (re)discover some of her greatest hits, taken from her second opus, including " Back to Black ", " Rehab ", " Me and Mr Jones ", " Wake Up Alone " and " You Know I'm No Good ".
This concert at Porchester Hall, lasting around 52 minutes, took place shortly after Amy Winehouse 's Brit Awards win for Best Female Vocalist of the Year.
Immediately after the concert, France 4 presents " Une vie en 10 photos Saison 1 " about Amy Winehouse. Directed by Louise Lockwood, this documentary retraces the artist's eventful life in 10 photos told by her family and friends. It's an opportunity to revisit her passion for music, discover her extreme sensitivity, talk about her destructive relationship with addictions, but also her love for her family, children and animals.
