Before SUM 41 take to the stage at Paris La Défense Arena, fans will be treated to two opening acts. But who are they? For this final European tour of the French capital, Deryck Whibley and his accomplices have chosen to invite Neck Deep and Dynamite Shakers as support acts.
Hailing from the UK, and more precisely from Wales, Neck Deep today features Ben Barlow on vocals and Matt West on guitar, as well as Seb Barlow on bass, Sam Bowden on guitar and Matt Powles on drums.
Formed in 2012, Neck Deep have 5 studio albums to their credit to date, the latest of which was released in 2024. Previously, the band released"Wishful Thinking" in 2014,"Life's Not out to Get You" a year later,"The Peace and the Panic" in 2017, and then"All Distortions Are Intentional" in 2020.
Their style? Powerful, effective pop punk, with catchy, dynamic melodies that win over the ears of many a fan. Neck Deep have already opened for All Time Low on their "Back to the Future Hearts Tour", as well as Bring Me The Horizon, PVRIS and Pierce the Veil.
This autumn, Neck Deep take the next step in their career by opening for SUM 41! It's an opportunity for the Welsh band to showcase the full extent of their talent, and to turn up the heat in the room before the legendary Canadians take to the stage!
But that's not all, as another band has been announced to open the festivities on November 23. Their name? Dynamite Shakers. A great opportunity for this French band from Vendée.
