Event at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie in Paris! From January 2, 2025, the Planetarium will be offering a brand-new digital and musical experience based around the legendary group U2. Every Sunday, the Irish band's classics will be projected for the first time under a full dome!

" Sunday Bloody Sunday ", " Where the Streets Have No Name ", " Beautiful Day ", " Elevation " or " Vertigo "... It's hard to list all the hits by U2. Since its formation in Dublin in 1976, this rock band has enjoyed a string of successes, albums and tours. To date, the band - made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. - has 17 albums to its credit.

With a new opus due to be released soon, U2 fans are now waiting to find out when they will make their stage comeback in Europe, and in France in particular. U2 last performed in Paris in 2018. That year, the quartet took over theAccor Arena in September. Two years earlier, U2 had set foot at the Stade de France for the 30th anniversary of "The Joshua Tree". More recently, U2 performed a series of shows at the impressive Sphere in Las Vegas, USA.

In anticipation of a possible tour in 2026, U2 fans will be able to (re)discover some of the Irish rock band's many hits in a rather original way.

From January 2, 2025, the Planetarium at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris will be opening its doors to a brand-new digital experience dedicated to the songs of U2. Every Sunday from 6 p.m., U2 fans will be able to enjoy the band's classics in 360°, projected under a full dome, for the very first time!

It's not the first time that the Planetarium at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie has put music in the spotlight. Until December 30, 2024, the Planetarium is offering an original immersion experience to the sound of 42 minutes of Pink Floyd's legendary album"The Dark Side Of The Moon".

In 2025, the mood changes with this musical tribute to U2! In detail, this new digital experience (lasting 43 minutes) runs from Thursday January 2 to Sunday January 5, 2025 at 6pm, then every Sunday from 6pm, starting January 12, 2025.
