Montreuil: concerts by Werenoi, Angélique Kidjo, Christophe Maé and fireworks this weekend

Montreuil awaits you on Saturday June 22 and Sunday June 23, 2024 for its "weekend of ouf!". On the program? Fireworks and a host of concerts, including those by rapper Werenoi, the talented Angélique Kidjo and artist Christophe Maé. All free of charge at Parc Montreau, in the heart of Seine-Saint-Denis!

This Friday, June 21, many towns and cities in the Paris region will be celebrating the latest edition of the Fête de la Musique, with a fine musical program in store. But other towns have decided to extend the festivities and celebrate the arrival of summer at the same time. Such is the case of Montreuil. The famous Seine-Saint-Denis town is organizing its " weekend of ouf! " on Saturday June 22 and Sunday June 23, 2024 in the Parc Montreau.

Join us this Saturday from 1pm for the traditional town festival. On the program? Entertainment for young and old, a village of associations and free concerts byAngélique Kidjo and Christophe Maé. To round off this first beautiful day, Montreuil will light up the Paris skies with a fireworks display from 11.30pm.

The party continues the following day, Sunday June 23 from 2pm, with the Urban Cultures Festival, again in the Parc Montreau. Urban sports and concerts by artists from the hip-hop scene await you. The famous rapper Werenoi, from Montreuil, is scheduled to perform on Sunday at 7pm.

5pm: Angélique Kidjo and the Marmots choir
6pm: K'ra Vybz. Karibean Vybz a.k.a K'ra Vybz is an association, created in 2016 and aims to promote West Indian culture, via carnival.
7pm: Percujam. Percujam is a group made up of young autistic adults and their educators. They write and compose rhythmic songs, moving between Rock, Reggae and Rap.
8:30pm: Thaïs Lona. Considered a rising soul-rap-RnB star, Thaïs Lona was spotted by trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf in 2019.
10pm: Christophe Maé. The famous singer performs at Parc Montreau from 10pm. Maé's hits include " Il est où le bonheur ", " On s'attache ", " Dingue, dingue, dingue ", " Belle demoiselle " and " Tombé sous le charme".
