Claire Chazal, a well-known French journalist, offers reading sessions every Monday from March 25 to July 1, 2024 during a 1h10 session at the Théatre de Poche-Montparnasse. These sessions are an opportunity for Claire Chazal to share her favorite books with you.
For the duration of the session, the journalist takes us with her to discover texts by Zweig and Gary, through extracts from Le Monde d'hier and L'éducation européenne. But Claire Chazal is also keen to explore poetry, with poet and writer Christian Bobin and Jean Echenoz. Books of poignant true stories are also featured, such as the testimony of Auschwitz survivor Charlotte Delbos.
After presenting the evening news on TF1 from 1991 to 2015,Claire Chazal went on to present the cultural magazine Entrée libre on France 5 from Monday to Friday until 2019. She then hosted the program Passage des arts on France 2 until 2023. Passionate about literature, she takes to the stage every year to read texts at the Festival de la correspondance de Grignan.
