François Cluzet in the one-man show Encore une journée divine

Attention François Cluzet fans! The actor is back on stage, 25 years after his last role. In Encore une journée divine, adapted from the novel by Denis Michelis, François Cluzet presents a one-man show between tragic farce and psychological thriller. Playing at the Théâtre Bouffes Parisiens, the show runs from January 25 to April 18, 2025.

Robert, a renowned therapist and essayist, is at his wits' end. Tired of seeing his patients stall in their evolution, he has radically changed his approach. No longer a man of reflection and introspection, he has opted for action. Now confined to a psychiatric hospital, he shares his confessions. His goal: to change the world. Yet he's been mistaken for a madman. But who is he really? Guilty or innocent? Honest or manipulative? Encore une journée divine stars François Cluzet as Robert, in a poignant one-man show.

Emmanuel Noblet, who adapted and directed the play, is no stranger to literary adaptations. In 2017, the director won the Molière for best one-man show for Réparer les vivants. Encore une journée divine is his latest one-man show, starring François Cluzet .

Renowned for his roles in both film and theater, François Cluzet began his career in the 1970s. His role in Guillaume Canet 's Ne le dis à personne (2006) earned him critical acclaim, winning a César for Best Actor. He is also famous for his performance in Intouchables (2011), in which he co-stars with OmarSy, a film that was a huge international success. He is now back on stage in the one-man show Encore une journée divine, opening January 25, 2025.
