Loov Kultuur: Estonian creation displayed at Paris Cité de la Mode

From December 8, 2017 to January 21, 2018, Paris Cité de la Mode et du Design promotes Estonia through a series of events: pho exhibitions, street art works, sauna, pop-up store…

Estonian culture and art de vivre are taking over Paris Cité de la Mode et du design. About to celebrate Estonia’s 100 anniversary and a few days before the end of its presidency at the Council of the European Union, the snake-shaped venue overlooking the Seine celebrates the Baltic state from December 8, 2017 to January 21, 2018 with the event Loov Kultuur.

Design, art, fashion, street art, photography, animated movies… An outdoor and indoor trail allows you to discover Estonian creation through various prisms as well as French artists’ works who felt inspired by this former USSR country facing Norway.

The program also includes:

  • A pop-up store offering a selection of fashion and design objects made in Estonia to be discovered until December 22

  • An igloo-shaped sauna to warm up and relax

  • A presentation of Estonian street artist Edward von Lõngus’ works

  • A photo exhibition by Raphaël Giannelli-Meriano who works on a passion for Estonia since he discovered this northern Europe country located on the shore of the Baltic sea in 2002
