Notice to all Japanese culture lovers! Every year, the Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac museum organizes evenings and events in connection with its temporary exhibitions. This spring, as part of the sublime exhibition"Kimono", the Parisian museum is organizing a free evening dedicated to Japan.
On Friday, March 17, 2023, meet at the Quai Branly Museum to experience a fabulous dive into Japanese pop culture. Through a series of animations, mixing manga, video games, cosplay and J-Pop, discover the famous Harajuku district in Tokyo, the kawaii universe, the purikura and the alternative fashion!
For one night only, the Quai Branly museum will take you on a journey to Japan with live performances and DJ sets, taiko demos (the famous Japanese drums), or a meeting about Japan Mania. Various and varied animations proposed within the Claude Lévi-Strauss Theater of the museum. The icing on the cake, it will also be possible to discover the exhibition " Kimono " at night. To top it all off, this event is free (within the limits of available seats).
