Philippe BLANCHARD died of cancer on February 16, 2023.
An amateurwatercolorist, he had planned to organize an exhibition and sale of his works in aid of Curie, in the company of a few friends who were also amateur artists. Illness did not give him the time.
On the first anniversary of his death, his friends decided to make the project a reality, as a tribute to him that would also benefit the fight against this disease.
The " Les Pianos " establishment in Montreuil has kindly agreed to host this project in one of its rooms from March 22 to 25, 2024, and theInstitut Curie is supporting it as part of its "Daffodil against Cancer" campaign.
If you like a work of art and are thinking of buying it, you should know that the entire value will be donated directly to the InstitutCurie.
Artists donate their works in full to this cause. To do this, it is essential to pay by cheque made payable to theInstitut Curie. This is the only way you can benefit from the tax deduction to which your gesture entitles you.
This project will be an opportunity to mix art and celebration in the bar-restaurant"Les Pianos", offering great opportunities for conviviality during a jazz moment on Saturday 23rd, or over a drink or a dish!
All proceeds from sales of the exhibition will be donated to theInstitut Curie, in support of its fundamental and clinical cancer research.
