This autumn, the great modern masters are exhibited on the walls of the M.A.K Galerie. Bernard Buffet, Marc Chagall and Pablo Picasso accompany works by Niki de Saint-Phalle in a space with 18th-century wood-panelled walls. Not to be missed, a second Picasso painting alongside a Jean-Michel Atlan canvas and Italian Renaissance panels painted by Bonifacio Bembo and his workshop.

The M.A.K. Galerie, meeting place of the Comité Utrillo-Valadon

A family business established in the "Golden Triangle" since the 1950s, the gallery moved to Avenue Matignon in 2010. At the time, it was known as "Espace Marc-Arthur Kohn". In 2023, Valérie Kohn took overas president and renamed the gallery "M.A.K. Galerie". Valérie and Marc-Arthur Kohn are also members of the Comité Utrillo-Valadon, which holds appraisal meetings for the works of Maurice Utrillo and Suzanne Valadon at the gallery, 24 avenue Matignon.

Valérie Kohn and her team follow in the footsteps of the great modern and contemporary art dealers. For example, theystaged a highly acclaimed Christo exhibition to coincide with the packaging of the Arc de Triomphe in 2021. More recently, they have showcased paintings by Achille Laugé, Edgar Degas, Auguste Herbin, Jean Hélion... to name but a few artists recently honored by Parisian or international museums.

Find them in their gallery and on Artsy.
