Artificial intelligence meets art... From May 16 to July 16, 2024, the Goldshteyn-Saatort Gallery presents a new exhibition of works by SKIO, entitled Identité Artificielle. Through this exhibition, SKIO questions and explores the effects ofAI on artistic expression, offering an innovative perspective on the dialogue between new technologies and traditional methods. Please note that the vernissage takes place on May 16, from 6 pm to 10 pm, in the presence of the artist. Registration for the opening is required (see practical info).
SKIO, whose artistic roots lie in neoclassicism and Bauhaus, uses its influences to create a bridge between the artistic past and the digital future. In Identité Artificielle, his works demonstrate an impressive balance between the clear, functional lines of Bauhaus and the aesthetic grandeur of neoclassicism, while incorporating elements of artificial intelligence. This combination gives rise to canvases that are not only works of art, but also reflections on our relationship with technology in the context of artistic creation.
SKIO 's approach is resolutely artisanal: each canvas exhibited at the Goldshteyn-Saatort gallery is hand-painted, accentuating the uniqueness and authenticity of each piece. This methodology enriches his creations with a personal, introspective dimension, inviting the viewer to reflect deeply on the evolution of art in the digital age. Each canvas also features a QR code to be scanned, giving you access to a behind-the-scenes video for each work. And to extend the experience, headphones are also available, with each painting accompanied by a poem and a sound track created by IA.
An exhibition that is also intended as a platform for debate and meditation on the future implications of integrating artificial intelligence into creative disciplines. An opportunity to discover howartificial intelligence can coexist with human creativity to form a new artistic field. Want to drop in?
