Would you like to create your own work of art? Head to Galerie Goldshteyn-Saatort, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris, to discover a Pouring Art workshop. Every Wednesday and Saturday, young and old alike can plunge into the world of pouring art. A moment of creativity for the whole family, guided from time to time by the artists, but above all by the gallery owners, so you can leave with your own work of art at the end. We've tried it, we'll tell you about it!

Would you like to paint your own work of art? The Goldshteyn-Saatort gallery, located in the 7th arrondissement, is offering its Pouring Art workshop from September 25, 2024. Every Wednesday and Saturday, from 2 to 3 p.m. and again from 4 to 5 p.m., children (aged 3 and over) and adults are invited to discoverPouring Art, a technique accessible to all that involves pouring a mixture of paint onto a work of art, in this case a small statue of a bear or rabbit. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced amateur, this workshop offers you an experience in the world of Pouring Art, in the heart of the artistic district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

The Galerie Goldshteyn-Saatort, dedicated to contemporary urban art, is a meeting place for artists, collectors and art lovers. Located just a stone's throw from the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay, the gallery stands out for its innovative program, which showcases a variety of techniques including acrylic, ink and spray paint. It regularly collaborates with international artists, offering its visitors works of great diversity.

During the workshop, you'll be guided by experts (artists from current exhibitions, as well as gallery owners who know their stuff when the artists aren't there), in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. You'll learn more about artistic techniques in the company of the artists exhibiting in the gallery (when they make a surprise stop in the gallery), but also about theexhibition of the moment, through discussions.

Our test of the Paint Pouring workshop at the Goldshteyn-Saatort gallery:

A workshop we were able to test, during a Beta test. And it's great fun! The exercise is very relaxing (and not too messy), and for anyone who might think that simply dripping paint doesn't bring "any added value" to the workshop, know that you're sadly mistaken: giving effects with three color mixes (three in total) isn't as easy as you might think, especially when you're looking to give certain effects in particular.

We were very pleased with the final result. The fast drying time also meant that we were able to pick up the work the very next day (we waited a little longer because of our busy schedule). In short, an experience worth trying out if you need to relax without going to a Fury Room, if you want to put your creative talents to the test, or if you simply want to keep your kids busy. All you have to do is make up your own mind!

Note that no previous experience is necessary, even if you weren't very good at art! This workshop is open to both children and adults (especially children). And if you want to pick up your work of art, you're welcome to come back the next day while it dries. Now you know everything! Now all you have to do is book your session at Galerie Goldshteyn-Saatort!
