On July 20, theOlympiade culturelle de Paris 2024 will take you on a journey with its Le Tour du Monde en une journée project. The initiative, coordinated by the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Forum des Instituts Culturels Étrangers, now has more than 20 structures taking part to bring the public an exceptional day out.
The concept? Link art and sport, and discover the world's different cultures, thanks to four different routes. Each route takes you to different embassies, cultural centers and institutes along four different paths. They start at Unesco for an opening ceremony from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., and end at Station Afrique to bring this Cultural Olympiad to a close.
The journey will be short but intense during this Cultural Olympiad! The public will have the opportunity to discover artists from all over the world and their works of art, echoing the athletes from all over the world coming together for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Each stop at one of the cultural venues shows you something different: concerts, workshops, guided tours, and even culinary workshops are on the program!
The Paris 2024Cultural Olympiad offers four routes, but spectators are free to choose their own itineraries and go wherever they wish for the duration of the day. Most cultural institutes and embassies will be open all day.
Free tickets for each stop can be purchased online from the official website, where you'll also find a detailed program.
