Ground Control becomes Voie 24 during the Olympic Games, with a host of sports activities

Ground Control is transformed during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The huge living space becomes Voie 24 for the duration of the summer, with competition broadcasts, initiations and a whole host of sporting events on the program!

Are you used to going to Ground Controlfor a drink or to enjoy the various sporting competitions with friends, broadcast on the big screen? Then you've come to the right place for the Olympic and Paralympic Games! The lively venue in Paris's 12th arrondissement becomes Voie 24 for the occasion, until September 8, 2024, and transforms itself with a 100% sports and Olympism program.

Before the competition gets underway, a host of free events offer the chance to meet professionals, physiotherapists, sports coaches and former athletes, and learn all the secrets of good physical preparation. You can also do some muscle-strengthening sessions and try out the Olympic disciplines, including fencing, badminton, floorball and kayaking... Please note: you may need to book in advance to be sure of getting a place!

From July 26 onwards, the Games get underway, with live broadcasts of the events, including the Opening Ceremony, on giant screens every day! Not forgetting the many activities that will continue to be offered until the end of the Paralympic Games, including shows, conferences, sporting challenges and wild DJ sets!

And because Ground Control is also a place to eat and drink, for these Olympic Games, the offer is adapted with new creations, including a special Ile-de-France beer in collaboration with Brasserie du Grand Paris, and menus in the colors of the Games. Throughout the summer, the hall's corners will be offering dishes with sporting names, such as the Assiette Triathlon, the Tostada Bolt, the BMX Burger and the Chorifoot!

We tested the Chicken Javelot Wrap, in keeping with the theme of Ancient Greeceand the Games, featuring grilled potatoes, a delicious tzatziki flavored with dill, and a chicken wrap, accompanied by a spicy hummus! Whether you're a fan of Japanese, Italian, Argentinean or Indian cuisine, or a big taco eater, this special Olympics menu is the perfect way to support your favorite athletes!
