It's the design event of the autumn - Paris Design Week returns to the capital from September 5 to 14, 2024! This year, the not-to-be-missed event for budding creatives and designers unveils a most refreshing installation: Eau Fraîche, a duo of scented fountains imagined by designer Lucas Huillet and perfumer Alexandre Helwani.
Presented in the 18th-century courtyard of theHôtel de Soubise at the Archives Nationales, this poetic and ecological work questions our relationship with water, a precious resource in the face of climate emergency. Made of ceramic and recycled plastic by The Good Plastic Company, the two fountains pour out 30 liters of freshly scented water, designed to stimulate our senses and evoke an intense sensation of cold.
Somewhere between design, art and perfumery, Eau Fraîche plunges visitors into an immersive olfactory experience. Fragrant drops, collected in enameled stoneware bowls, remind us of the need to reinvent our daily lives in the face of climatic challenges. An invitation to reenchant our relationship with nature, with elegance and innovation.
Eau Fraîche, to be discovered until September 22 at Paris Design Week 2024.
